Conditions
of Hire
Liabilities
The owners, shall be under no liability to any person or member
of a holiday booking for any personal injury, loss or damage to
property however sustained or caused damage for the loss or theft
of property and/or money.
The owners undertake to keep the property and all furniture, fittings
and effects in or at the property in good and tenantable condition.
The hirer undertakes to keep the property and all furniture, fittings
and effects in or at the property in the same state of cleanliness
repair and condition as at the commencement of the hire period,
(reasonable wear and tear excepted).
Descriptions
The owners give all information and make all statements
in good faith and checks so far as is reasonable all the information
given to applicants. The owners shall not be liable for any
loss or damage resulting from the information given or statements
made whether orally or in writing.
Booking
The hirer signing the Booking form is and will remain responsible
for the members of his/her party and agrees to ensure that they
are aware of the Conditions of Hire and that they meet their obligations
arising from them in every way.
The hirer failing at any time before or during the hire period
to meet his/her obligations shall be deemed to have cancelled
his contract with the owners who may seek to repossess the property.
The owners will accept reservations only on receipt of a completed
Booking form from the hirer and upon payment of a defined
deposit.
Upon payment of the deposit and subject to the acceptance of the
booking the hirer becomes liable for the balance of the hire charge
for the full period of hire.
The balance of the hire charge is due for payment 28 days before
the hirer's arrival. Non payment of the balance by the due date
shall be deemed to be a cancellation of the arrangements of the
hirer.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons
as stated in the Brochure occupy a flat except by prior written
agreement with the owners.
For any booking made within 28 days of the hirer's proposed date
of arrival the full hire charge shall become payable with the
hirer's reservation on the booking form.
Cancellation
The hirer remains liable for the full balance of the hire charge.
However, the owners will do all they reasonably can to re-let
the accommodation following a cancellation and if successful will
refund such part of the deposit and/or balance as remains after
deduction of any additional expenses incurred.
Pets
Regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated.
Breakages
The hirer undertakes to replace all breakages with the same
or similar and to report any damage as soon as reasonably possible
after its occurrence so it can be repaired for the convenience
of the hirer and subsequent holiday makers.
All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the
hirer and their cost shall be refundable on demand.
Rights reserved by the owners
The owners reserve the right to decline accommodation.
The owners reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable
times with or without workmen for the purpose of inspection or
to carry out any repair deemed necessary to the property or equipment.
Security of tenure
The flats are used as holiday accommodation and therefore
exempt from security of tenure under the Rent Act.
